Setting up KaiBot
First time rules

Charging your KaiBot for the first time is an important step for proper battery activation and affects the performance and longevity of the device.

Charging

  • Before charging, check that all necessary components are included: a KaiBot, the included short USB charging cable, and you’ll need a USB charging port, preferably not from your computer as those are generally very low amp.
  • Connect KaiBot via the USB cable and a power supply to an outlet.
  • It’s best to let KaiBot charge for at least 1 hour before first time use, to extend battery life.

Firmware update

To access all the latest features, you’ll want to update your KaiBots firmware to the latest version.

Firmware update:

  • When KaiBot is switched on, the current version can be seen in the boot screen
  • KaiBot can be updated via Bluetooth from a computer or Chromebook. (not an iPad or iPhone)
  • Visit the following page, https://kaiseducation.com/update/
  • Click connect and look for the matching KaiBot ID
